How to hide private photos on Google Photos

However, we often have some private photos and videos, which don't want to show up in the main album. Most of the time we don't want the photos to be seen by anyone so hiding them would disappear them from the main scrolling feed. So, if you want to hide your photos and keep them separate then you can follow this simple hack and hide your private photos.

In order to hide your private photos, you can use the Archive feature of GooglePhotos. The feature is available for all the Android, iOS and web users using which they can easily segregate their private photos and videos from the main album. To use the feature, make sure that you have Google Photos version 2.15. To archive a photo or video you have to open the app and select the particular photo or photos. Then you have to tap on the menu button placed on the top left corner of the app.

Once the menu is open, you will see an Archive option there. Once you have archived a photo or video it will then disappear from the mail album. Don't worry the photo will not get deleted it will just hide. The images and videos archive will move to any other previously assigned folder and can be searched whenever you want. The feature comes really handy and also saves you from a lot of embarrassment.
